AVENGER OF BLOOD Pulls Out Of KANSAS CITY POWER METAL FEST

Due to "lineup problems," AVENGER OF BLOOD has canceled its appearance at this year's installment of the Kansas City Power Metal Fest, set to take place August 14-15, 2009 at The Riot Room in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kansas City Power Metal Fest is the first festival of its kind in the Kansas City region, bringing traditional, power and true metal bands together for a unique lineup.

The festival billing is now as follows:

Friday, August 14:

MANILLA ROAD
ZEPHANIAH
LIGHTNING SWORDS OF DEATH
ANCIENT CREATION
VANLADE

Saturday, August 15:

WIDOW
RAVAGE
SEVENTH CALLING
MORTIFIER
MALUS REX
THE COVENTRY SACRIFICE

Both dates will feature an outside stage as well.
